    What this scenario actually checks

Turn photos, scanned pages or screenshots into a single PDF document. Each selected image becomes one A4 page with white margins and automatic portrait or landscape orientation. The selected file list shows the page order before conversion, and processing happens entirely on your device.

This walkthrough focuses on keeping photo order in pdf output. It follows the published tool inputs, not a new formula or an automatically verified legal, financial, medical or engineering determination.

Start by preparing the right inputs

Choose 1–10 PNG, JPG or WebP images. Each file may be up to 20 MiB and 20 million pixels; the combined limits are 50 MiB and 50 million pixels. Review the displayed file order: the first listed image becomes page one. To change the order, reselect the files in the required order using your file picker.

Before copying the example, confirm that each entered unit, date, dimension and default matches your real task. Changing only a visible number without revisiting its assumptions can change what the answer means.

    • Choose 1–10 PNG, JPG or WebP images. Each file may be up to 20 MiB and 20 million pixels; the combined limits are 50 MiB and 50 million pixels.
    • Review the displayed file order: the first listed image becomes page one. To change the order, reselect the files in the required order using your file picker.
    • Choose Convert and Download PDF. Images fit within A4 pages with 24-point white margins, automatic orientation, preserved aspect ratio and no cropping.

    Worked example with the calculator

Use the following input values: Two portrait photos.

The example output is One PDF with two A4 portrait pages. Each image becomes a separate page in the displayed selection order.

For comparison, the same tool also documents these inputs: One wide screenshot. Its result is One A4 landscape page. The image is centered, preserves its shape and fits within the white margins.

    What can change the answer

Choose Convert and Download PDF. Images fit within A4 pages with 24-point white margins, automatic orientation, preserved aspect ratio and no cropping. All images are re-encoded as JPG at 90% quality. Transparency becomes white and animations become one still frame. Small images may be enlarged to fit the page; their underlying pixel detail does not increase. The PDF contains image pages, not OCR text, editable text, forms or original metadata. Existing PDFs are not accepted. This tool does not merge or split PDF files. Files stay in browser memory and are not uploaded.

Will text inside a photo be searchable? No. The PDF embeds raster images and does not run optical character recognition. Text visible inside an image remains part of that image.

Does this preserve every original pixel without compression? No. Images are decoded and re-encoded as JPG at 90% quality to produce RGB image pages. For original lossless files, keep the source images separately.

Before using the result for a real decision

For keeping photo order in pdf output, check the original measurements and input units, and save the assumptions alongside any number you share.

Where legal rules, official allowances, equipment ratings or contractual conditions matter, consult their current authoritative documents. An illustrative estimate is not a substitute for that verification.

    • Reproduce the example before changing inputs
    • Check all units and assumptions, including any default values
    • Verify official or manufacturer-specific requirements outside the calculator
