Area 50 m²; thickness 50 mm; allowance 5%
Base 2.5 m³; with allowance 2.625 m³; 2,625 L50 × 0.05 m gives 2.5 m³. Adding a 5% planning allowance gives 2.625 m³ of wet volume.

Estimate a wet screed or topping volume before placing an order. Multiply the floor area in square metres by the average layer thickness converted from millimetres to metres to get the base wet volume. Then apply an optional percentage allowance for uneven substrate, site variation and planning margin. The tool returns base volume, adjusted volume and the adjusted quantity in litres. It does not calculate a cement-to-sand mix, dry material bags, compaction or shrinkage.

50 × 0.05 m gives 2.5 m³. Adding a 5% planning allowance gives 2.625 m³ of wet volume.
24 × 0.04 = 0.96 m³. The extra 0.096 m³ represents the user-entered 10% allowance.
Not reliably without the product's stated yield per bag and any water or compaction requirements. This tool reports wet placed volume only.
Use a justified average over the measured area or calculate distinct zones separately. A single average can hide significant variations in actual material demand.
Calculate approximate plaster/render volume from net wall area and layer thickness. The calculation ignores substrate unevenness, coats of differing thickness and mixing shrinkage.
